The "Entrance of the Holy Mother of God into the Church" parish in Northampton, located in the East Midlands region (Midlands Protopochy), was established in the fall of 2007, with the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Joseph.

The Entry of the Virgin Mary into the Church is celebrated on November 21. This holiday is popularly known as Vovidenia or Ovedenia.
The parents of the Mother of God are Saints Joachim and Anna. Childless, but with faith in God, they asked God to grant them the honor of being parents, promising that if they had a child, they would take it to the temple and worship it to Him.
